We are running a clothing collection fundraiser in conjunction with Bag2School. This involves collecting clothes that will be sent to Africa/Asia/Eastern Europe to be re-used.
Bag2School will pay us 30c per KG/€300 per tonne of clothes we collect. This is a great opportunity to do a clear out and sort through wardrobes so that you can donate any unwanted textiles. This fundraiser will also raise awareness among our students of the benefits of recycling/re-using items and ties in nicely with our Green Schools Initiative. As an added bonus, Laura Lynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice will also receive an additional 10% from Bag2School on top of what we get paid.
The clothes we collect have to be of good quality – please see below for items we can and cannot accept.

Our Bag2School collection will be on: Friday 12th December. We will be accepting clothes into the school from Monday 1st December.
In the meantime, please think about doing a clear out and try to fill as many bags as you can! Don’t forget to ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a clear out too!
Please note you can return clothes to the school in any kind of bag.
Thank you for your participation and we look forward to collecting lots of clothes in this great fundraising event!
