Darver GAA
The new Louth GAA Centre of Excellence is located approximately 600 meters from Darver National School. and provides Football Fun Training programmes every Saturday from October to February for children Under 8, 10 and 12.
The facility consists of 5 sand-based fully floodlit pitches, and 1 3G synthetic pitch (floodlit), clubhouse and a Slí na Sláinte Route (1.6km) surrounding the facility. The clubhouse was completed in 2010 and consists of changing rooms, hydro-massage,physio/medical rooms, match officials rooms, gym, administration offices, meeting rooms, media room, museum, kitchen & dining areas.
Ample car parking is also available on site.
The Centre also has Slí Na Sláinte, a safe 1.6km walking track free from traffic and has become a popular walking route for the local community.

Community Centre
Irish Dancing
Lessons are run by CosCeol in the Darver Community Centre on Saturday mornings from 11am-12pm. Classes are for boys and girls aged four years and up. Lessons are taught by three qualified Irish dance teachers (Sarah, Colin and Joanne) with professional experience from Riverdance and Lord of the dance. Badminton
Badminton is a major part of sporting life for Scoil Dairbhre. The Darver Juvenile Badminton Club is one of the most successful in the country and is well known at Leinster level for its quality of players. The club caters for 4th, 5th and 6th Classes.
Speech & Drama
Speech and Drama takes place in the community centre on Tuesdays after school. The Training is certified through the Leinster School of Music and Drama. Drama gives the children the opportunity to build their confidence in a fun environment, with a very professional approach. Infants are collected from school by their teacher Michelle at two, followed by the more senior children at three.
Kool – Kidz Creche
Just across the road from the school is the brand new purpose built Kool-Kidz crèche with facilities for pre-school children. It is operated by Sandra Hoey, phone: 087-1706494
The crèche offers a safe, happy and educational environment for all the children who attend.
The facility is HSE approved with CCTV cameras and fire certificate approval. The crèche also has a purified water system. There is an outdoor play area for the children and ample parking for all parents.
